The Patty & Jay Baker Naples Museum of Art is a reflection of the unique spirit and generosity of Southwest Florida. Its mission is to be a visual arts center for people of all ages and backgrounds, to reflect the varied interests and wishes and to nourish the soul of the community.
The museum boasts a three-story, 30,000-square-foot facility with 15 galleries, a glass dome conservatory, entrance gates by renowned metal artist Albert Paley, a Persian ceiling by acclaimed glass artist Dale Chihuly, spectacular chandeliers, a resource room and a retail store. The Naples Museum of Art is dedicated to displaying world-class painting, sculpture, drawing and other art forms, while providing educational programs and lectures.
Currently, the Naples Museum of Art is pleased to present an exciting and innovative new exhibition called Ship to Shore featuring paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures and scale models exploring a wide range of oceanic and nautical themes. The centerpiece of the exhibition is outsider artist Wayne Kusy’s nationally acclaimed Titanic (1985). The exhibition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the ill-fated voyage of the RMS Titanic and will be available for viewing until June 30th, 2012.
The Naples Museum of Art is located at 5833 Pelican Bay Boulevard in North Naples, adjacent to The Philharmonic Center for the Arts.
