The Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) is quickly becoming the signature film event in Southwest Florida. NIFF celebrates film and filmmakers against the gorgeous backdrop of white-sand beaches and warm breezes. Filmmakers are invited to attend the festival and are treated like VIPs. They are encouraged to participate in festival events such as the director’s dinner, special screenings and to relax in the filmmaker’s lounge. The mission of the Naples International Film Festival is to celebrate independent film and filmmakers in an intimate festival setting that enhances the cultural and artistic life of the community.
The 4th Annual Naples International Film Festival is set for Thursday through Sunday, November 1-4, 2012. The red carpet opening night gala and screening take place at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts, while features, documentaries and film shorts of all genres will be screened at the Silverspot Cinema at Mercato on November 2-4, 2012.
The opening night begins with the red carpet arrival at 5:30PM followed by the opening film screening at 7:00PM, then a late-night party afterwards.
